July ArtWalk Feature Artists

July ArtWalk Feature Artists

The Squash Blossom will feature four artists for our July 6 ArtWalk: sculptor Daniel Glanz, painter Renee Buller, jeweler Vasant, and woodworker Burritt Pond.

Daniel Glanz's sculptures are known for their powerful yet elegant quality.  His love of travel has brought him to destinations like the Galapagos, Antarctica, Central and South America, and Africa.  All of his pieces are made in his studio in Loveland. He is an Elected Member of the National Sculpture Society, National Sculptors’ Guild Member, and a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists.

Renee Buller is a wildlife artist and Colorado native. Her paintings focus on the outdoors and she is well-known for her paintings of birds and mammals.  She paints the landscapes and wildlife of Colorado, the rest of North America, and beyond.  She resides in Castle Rock.

Vasant's annual visits to India started her jewelry career and she still selects many of her stones on these trips.  She got her start in jewelry design when her yoga instructor encouraged her to make a necklace.  On her return to the States, she was regularly stopped on the streets asking where she got her necklace.  She now loves making jewelry for her friends and clients.

Burritt Pond is a World War II and Korean War Veteran, who creates Artistry in Wood.  His pieces include wooden bowls, candlesticks, and vases.  He is in his mid-90s and still works in the studio everyday!

Join us on Friday, July 6 from 5-8 PM for the chance to meet our artists and enjoy free wine and refreshments.
